This email serves to recommend Shane Jones for employment.
I had worked with Shane in the LoneStar Group. In my opinion Shane is one of those rare people who understand the
importance of earning trust. He is very capable of winning people over and I have witnessed on multiple occasions his
ability to maneuver around gate keepers with this dynamic personality.
I was pleased with his desire to learn more about the products we offered and how they could be used to benefit our
customers. I intentionally use the word "our" customers because this provides me with the opportunity to mention one
of his finer attributes. Shane is a team player and continues to go out of his way to help others.
Shane also knows the value of time. I have seen him make very productive cold calls in between scheduled meetings
and when it comes to cold calls, Shane is fearless.
I am very pleased to recommend Shane and only regret that he is under a non-compete which prohibits him from
working with me - otherwise this would be an offer letter.
