Theme or focus of images
In all of Helen Dixons photos you see various landscapes, in image 1 you see some
wooden posts in the sea, in image 2 you see a beach, in image 3 you see big ben
just as it is going dark, in image 4 you see a light which is located on some docks this
phots looks to have been taken just as it is going dark, in image 5 you see a field just
as it is going dark, in image 6 you see a hillside with a castle possibly at sunset.
With helens dioxin seems to like the British isles all of her phots where take in this
area.

Composition
Looking at Helen Dixons photos it seems she chooses to stand as far away as she
can so she is able to include as much of the landscape she is looking at as possible,
if she had stood any further away her photos wouldn’t look as good as you would
be able to see too much which would distract you from what the photo is focusing
on whereas with where she chooses to stand you can see what she has focused the
photo on perfectly.
Techniques used
Over all most of Helens shutter speeds are the same except the photos which have
been taken at night, I don’t think Helens has used the rule of thirds in any of her
photos I think if she had they might be about better and I think the depth of field in
her photos is simulate with them all being landscapes.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Overall I like Helen Dixons photos because I like the way her photos are usually taken
at sunset as this gives her photos are warm feel, even her photos which are either
black and white or taken at night they have some kind of light in it which catches
your eye instantly and makes them feel calm, there isn’t anything I don’t like other
than in some of her phots I think she should have taken them as a landscape not
portrait.
