12. OER CONCLUSION
It is clear that the use of open materials will allow my program
to glean valuable course materials that I can provide for my
students to use without charge.
This material will be very helpful as we look at updating the
curriculum in our welding program.
I am hopeful that this project will lead to reducing the financial
barriers that challenge some of our community members ability
to afford a college education
