Blue Brain is the name of the world’s first virtual brain
that means the machine can function as a human-brain.
Today scientist are in research to create a blue brain that
can think, response, take decision and keep anything in
memory.
The main aim is to upload the human brain into machine
so, that man can think, take decision without any effort.
The blue brain is an attempt to reverse engineer brain to
recreate the artificial brain inside the computer.
5. What Is Blue Brain?
The IBM is now developing a virtual brain which
is known as BLUE BRAIN.
Within 30 year s we will able to scan ourselves
into the computers which is anVirtual Brain.
It will take a decision which were on past & can
think like a brain which will respond like a natural
brain.
It is possible by using supercomputer with huge
amount of storage capacity.
It is interface between artificial brain and human
brain.
7. Need of Virtual Brain
Today we are developed because of our
intelligence. Intelligence is the inborn quality
that cannot be created. Some people have
this quality so, they can think up to such an
extent where the other cannot reach.
Human society is always in need of such
intelligence, but this intelligence will lost
after the death of the body.
SO, the virtual brain is the solution to it.

every time.

intelligent and thoughtful it increases the risk of
machines conducting war against human.
12. Technique
The project was founded in May 2005 by
Henry Mark at the EPFL in Lausanne,
Switzerland.
Goal of the project is to gain the complete
understanding of the brain and the faster
development of the brain disease treatment.
The research involves the studying the slices
of living brain tissue by using microscope.
Data is collected about all the many different
neuron types.

cortices.
It is predicated that the project will be capable of this by
the year of 2023.
