Social System Technology Environment
6 Key of Organizational Behavior
 The word ‘people’ can be anyone who is working inside the Organization, like employees or
any external person like supplier, customer, auditor, or any government official.
 The employee is one of the very important parts of an organization. There is no any
alternative in an organization without employee/people. You know, there may be many
parties in an organization. Some party may be formal and some may be informal.
 People makes the interactive and behavioral platform in any organization and people
consists in the form of individuals and group.
 The role and behavior of people identifies, recognize and develop the interactive relations
towards behavioral attitudes in society.
11
People/Employee
6 Key of Organizational Behavior
 The formal relationship of people makes the structural design in organization.
 Structure means the formal relationship with on the job employee of an
organization.
 There is created different types of position for doing work nicely in the
organization.
 These position or designation are Manager, Accountant, Administration and
general staff. These officer and staff have to connect structurally so that they can
work efficiently and can play an important role in organizational development.
12
Structure
6 Key of Organizational Behavior
 In any organization, the interactive relations and behavior between individual and groups as well as the
relations by formal and informal ways also have an important role to make perspectives in
organizational behavior. The mutual behavior among people may be developed by the identification,
existence and interactive role in any organization and society.
13
Interactive Behavior
Social System
 Everything around us is society and everyone in the social lives together. The social system determines the
organizational work environment and from which the organization can operate.
 As people cannot live alone just like organization cannot run alone its job.
The organization has to do its activity with the help of the employee.
6 Key of Organizational Behavior
 Technology is a very important primary aspect of organizational structure in the modern age.
 The technology represent all the resources with which people work and affects the task that they
perform.
 It provides economic or physical resources to make people’s job easily. Technology also put restriction
on the freedom of people.
 Organizations work on technologies to help people in efficiently doing their work. Same technology
does not apply to each Organization but different Organizations demand different technologies for
their different line of businesses e.g. bank needs mediating technology which connects customers and
bankers, Manufacturing companies need long linked technology because of their assembly line process,
and hospitals work on intensive technology because of their responsibility to provide specialized
services in terms of doctors and medical equipment's.
14
Technology
6 Key of Organizational Behavior
 Organizations are influenced by the environment in which they work, at a substantial level.
Environment is important to Organizations because of the following factors:
# Supply and demand comes from this environment.
# Human resource, competitors, government agencies, unions, and political parties comes from
environment in which Organization is surviving.
# The Organizations have to follow rules and regulations fostered by this environment.
 All organizations operates within internal and external environment. The existence, structural design,
work performance, mutual relations and behavioral patterns are duly influenced by the internal and
external environmental factors.
