way from how they usually do when they are
experiencing a mental health problem

5. Stigma
• Many people think stigma is just associated
with just mental illness.
• It is associated with mental health in general.
• Too many people do not want to talk about
mental health because it is such a taboo
subject.

• See Change is a national programme working
to raise awareness and reduce stigma of
mental health.
• They are working with a number of different
partners to make more people aware.
• They are working towards creating a positive
attitude towards mental health.

• Think Big is a programme designed by O2 and
Headstrong to enable young people to do
projects in their community that make a
difference to young peoples' mental health.

• Mental health yeah that's right we are all
about promoting positive mental health among
young and old.
• Not many people talk about mental health, it’s
a taboo subject and we want to change that.
• We want to reduce the stigma, help charities
associated with mental heath and we want to
MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
