ENKEL
ENKEL is a multi-disciplinary collective of people who work together to
explore new possibilities and narratives for Western Australia. Our main
focus in 2014 is to build a space, where we can experiment with new
ways of working, learning, making, eating & drinking. A space which
continuously develops, and which is designed for people to accelerate
each others’ learning journeys.

THE SMALL ‘CAKE-SLICE’ SECTIONS surrounding the black circle
represent members of the Enkel co-operative. These can be individuals
or corporations. They are separate entities with separate responsibilities
and finances.

THE FOUR COLOURS are ‘guilds’, which are representing the four
elements working, learning, making and eating & drinking. Each
member is part of one (or more) guilds, depending on their activity. A
member who runs a organic food store might for instance be part of the
Eating & Drinking guild, but also the Learning guild if they run cooking
classes.

Enkel members pay a monthly membership fee, and are entitled
membership benefits through this. For example: Reduced rent in
coworking space, access to our workshops, 3D printers and meeting
rooms, free lectures and classes or cheaper coffee in our café. There are
four levels of membership with increasing involvement in the collective.

Enkel is a co-operative, i.e. voting is attached to membership - one
member one vote. If you are not interested to vote in decisions which
don’t consider your interest, you can choose to give your vote to
someone you trust – for example the person who represents your guild.
