4. Headlines to draw the reader in but doesn't tell them what the article is about - that's done by the stand first. Stylised font for headline Standfirst introduces the article, under the headline - often includes the journalists name. Simple colour scheme, kept to a minimum Quotes to break up the text One large picture, bleeds between pages ,links pages together. Drop capital used at the start of the article, to show the reader here to start. The article is usually written informally and the personality of the journalist.
