  1. First of all, This is our Multi-Band FTTA system, which is our innovative special design as a next-generation CPRI active DAS to solve small & medium indoor coverage. Our Digital Multi-Band FTTA™ is a three-tier architecture consisting of the Radio Access Unit (RAU), FTTA™ CPRI HUB Unit and Active Antenna Units (AAUs). let me introduce each components in details (next page)
  2. The outdoor roof-top RAU supports up to 3 * 2T2R RF paths and each RF path supports max 100MHz bandwidth and can be configured to be FDD or TDD mode in factory, which will very easily address a Single-Band or Dual-Band or even up to Tri-Band together. The outdoor roof-top RAU embedded 2T2R MIMO Donor Antenna already, so the end-customer just need to hang it up on the roof-top and align it to face to desired Donor BTS to get better cellular signal. By the way, with Power-over-Fiber (PoF) feature, it will be very simple installation due to there will be only one Hybrid Fiber-Copper cable to outdoor RAU, just like WiFi AP installation. Meanwhile, The RAU also have another option to support external N-type connector to connect the external high gain MIMO Donor Antenna in some special scenario. It generally accesses & synchronize outdoor 4G eNB & 5G gNB signals on air via embedded MIMO donor antenna, the signal is filtered, amplified and then converted to a digital CPRI data stream as well as synchronization signal (for 5G TDD). The digital CPRI packet data stream is transported via single mode fiber and received by the indoor remote Single-Band/Dual-Band/Tri-Band AAUs. It has two 10Gbps SFP+ digital optic ports and supports up to 7 indoor remote AAUs via indoor CPRI HUB by star network topologies for small & medium size coverage needs
  3. This is CPRI HUB, the FTTA™ CPRI HUB Unit is an indoor expansion element in our FTTA™ solution, it has total eight 10Gbps SFP+ optical ports to provide expandable connectivity up to seven indoor Distributed Active Antenna Units (AAUs) and one outdoor roof-top RAU over hybrid fiber-copper cable based on CPRI protocol by star topology /təˈpɑːlədʒi/ for small & medium coverage needs. It receives the CPRI data from RAU and transmits to the Distributed AAUs after shunting, the uplink CPRI data stream from AAU will be sent to the RAU after routing processing. It’s another important function is that provide innovative Power Over Fiber (PoF) features both for outdoor roof-top RAU and indoor remote Distributed AAUs to enable flexible & simplifies installation through hybrid fiber-copper cable.
  4. This is indoor AAU, the indoor remote AAUs then convert the digital CPRI packet data stream back to RF and control the switcher to DPD PA based on synchronization signal from RAU, then amplify the signal to the embedded 2T2R or 4T4R MIMO services antennas. On the reverse path (uplink), the AAUs and RAU perform the inverse functions and delivery the signals back to the corresponding outdoor 4G & 5G Base Stations. Our AAU can support single-band, dual-band and Tri-band with 2T2R, it is compact & fashion profile enables ceiling-mount, wall-mount and pole-mount. Meanwhile, The AAU also have Option with external N-type Connector to connect external High Gain MIMO Service Antenna in some high-rise floor scenario, like Entrance Hall in Airport or Railway Station etc.
  5. This is typical scenario for our Multi-band FTTA application. For small & medium [ˈmiːdiəm] in-building scenarios as smaller than 500sqm, such as underground packing lots, small office, factory, hotel or house building, small and medium-sized shops & stores, if the fiber backhaul is not available or the coverage & capacity requirement is small and it is not economic to directly deploy Base Station, and the outdoor LTE and 5G signal is good as min. RSRP -100dBm, and the indoor signal is not good due to big penetration loss by wall and windows, originally you would select traditional RF Repeater for such scenario, correct? Now, you can have better choice as Our Multi-Band FTTA solution! The outdoor roof-top RAU will get the outdoor LTE and 5G signal on air via embedded MIMO donor antenna, it will be very simplifies installation, just like install a WiFi AP, because the RAU is just need with one hybrid fiber-copper cable from indoor, and the end-customer just need hang it up on roof-top and align it to face to desired operator’s BTS to get better cellular signal, that is all.
