The document provides instructions for a design task to create a t-shirt for 15-21 year olds, taking inspiration from music cultures of the 1960s-1980s. Students are given requirements for their design brief including researching the target customer, themes, fabrics, and surface decoration methods. Examples of mood boards and existing product research are shown, along with design ideas, evaluations and manufacturing specifications.
This PowerPoint helps students to consider the concept of infinity.

Mood board
I used images from Google and Pinterest for my
mood board. The most useful images were the
ones of vinyl record covers from the 80’s. The
colours are really bold and contrasting with lots
of hot pink and black. The typography was also
interesting and very bold.
My client really liked the different hairstyles
which had very strong shapes in the 80’s. I will
try to use this idea in my designs.

Conclusion:
I can see that design number one is the most successful. I will use this for my final design
but I will need to make some modifications to the design.
In order to make it more 80’s inspired I will alter the colours and scale of the design. I will
also make sure I try to use some fabric that have more interesting textures.
