Founded in 2007, the research laboratory known as VIPCAT, which stands for Violent Intranational Political Conflict & Terrorism, concentrates on researching terrorism and political conflict. In particular, the laboratory focuses on the factors that cause the violent behavior by analyzing an array of data that it collects from around the world. VIPCAT also researches the fallout from terrorism and political violence.

unstructured text. VIPCAT conducts its
projects in coordination with scholars,
politicians, leaders, businesses, and other
individuals and entities with information
about political violence and those that have
been or could be affected by it.
4. Through the College of William & Mary,
Stephen Shellman oversees the Violent
Intranational Political Conflict and Terrorism
Research Laboratory. He also owns and
operates Strategic Analysis Enterprises, Inc.
