3. OVERVIEW
Riverfest is Arkansas’s longest running and largest
festival, attracting over 40,000 attendees a year. Some
major artists that have headlined the event include:
Sheryl Crow, Chicago, Sugar Ray, Dierks Bentley, Bush,
as well as many others.

4. CHALLENGE
After launching as a free event in 1978, Riverfest
began charging admission in the 1990’s, with
attendees purchasing their tickets at the door or at
retail outlets around the city. Over the course of
two decades, Riverfest never sold tickets online and
many of their customers were unfamiliar with online
ticketing. Because of this, the promoters were
concerned that introducing a new method would
lead to a substantial drop in sales.

5. SOLUTION
The Flavorus team worked rigorously with the event producers,
advising them on proven “best practices” gleaned from over
sixteen years experience managing the largest festivals in
