Good Morning – You know me as Steve Zeigler or Jersey Mike, I answer to both. Let’s get to know Steve a little better shall we.
Steve is a family man with his wife of 29 years Kelly, daughter Ayrica, son Adam, and mother now a texan just 2 miles away much to Kelly’s delight
When not slinging subs, Steve is an avid Reds fan, here he is with Bronson Arroyo Reds Pitcher in Houston on 7/25 4 HOF’s at Reds Fest in Cincy this December
Thanks to ebay, collecting Reds Memorabilia has become easy, 2 rooms of the house are devoted to such. Over 75 bobbleheads, 10 Wheaties boxes, 30 something signed balls, 10 signed framed pictures, over 500 pcs. Of Johnny Bench items and a close to a Million baseball cards
College sports is a love as well, both kids went to BU and we are fans, here is Adam after the St. Mary’s basketball game and a birth in the Elite 8
After corporate life Steve and Adam went into the sub business in Plano Texas, opening the first shop in Oct 2009

At Jersey Mike’s we prep all components of the sub on a daily basis, beginning at 7AM in the morning with the bread baking….all veggies are sliced & cookies baked, ready to open by 10AM.
Without customers JM does not exist, our goal is to greet every guest as though they are coming to our home, as it should be, we spend more time here than at home. A smile, welcome, & thank you go a long way in developing a great relationship & loyal following
All cheeses and meats are sliced fresh daily, straight from the meatcase, all top quality butcher quality meats not found in the local mercantile. The formula has worked since 1956

Sprinkiling is next, here is a catering order and a two man team is doing the sprinkle dance prior to store opening. Mike’s Way – Onions, lettuce, tomato, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend, & oregano!
It takes 5 to run an efficient lunch when busy, our record 91 tickets, everyone has a job; but, teamwork is the key to pushing through 91 tickets
