This document introduces the laws of restoring health according to nutritionist Stephen Ayere. The eight laws are: Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunshine, Temperance, Air, Rest, and Trust (NEW START). Each law is briefly explained. Nutrition involves eating grains, seeds, fruits, vegetables, nuts and herbs. Exercise provides benefits like improved cardiovascular health. Water intake should be based on body weight. Sunlight produces vitamin D and benefits health. Temperance means moderation. Fresh air purifies the blood. Rest allows the body to repair and reset. Trusting in God can reduce stress levels.

• ½ of all respiratory
conditions are attributed
by inhaling poisonous air
• Air also affects your sleep
20. Rest
• Rest is considered indulgent in our current society and
most people feel guilty for taking just 5 minutes to do
nothing.
• Little rest linked to chronic fatigue and heart problems.
• Our brains needs to reset itself.
• It’s the time when the body heal itself by repairing the
damaged tissues

• Trust your God
• Worry is the direct opposite of trust.
• With all the pressures in life, deadlines to meet = much
stress
• When under pressure we tend to make poor decision i.e. bad food
choices
• Too much stress affects brain performance
• All these affects our spiritual, mental and physical
natures.
