8. Location Reece
Potential locations
description.
Precise Google map image of
location.
Suitable location choice
(genre, narrative, research
undertaken.)
Inside of a private gym with various gym
equipment. Will be used for shooting a
workout sequence.
This is a suitable location choice for my
product as it follows my research on
audience, social status, genre and narrative.
For example the location is secluded and
private which entices the primary audience of
personal training as they are drawn to a
private gym that can show wealth.
Outdoor rural secluded track near the first
location. Will be used for shooting a running
sequence.
Middle of the red outline shows the route
that the run will take place. Different shots in
the sequence are marked in yellow.
This location is a suitable choice as it expands
the location choices well. I learned from my
research that audiences from this genre, and
also audience in general, like lots of different
locations and a variety of different activities
in these locations to keep them entertained
and also show the versatility of the product.
9. Style sheet fonts
I always wanted to keep the fonts of my products very simple and direct so that the
audience understood what the product was and what it gave straight away. I didn’t
want to overcomplicate the products by using any unique or deluxe fonts that could
make the product seem outside of the target audiences social class or range. I thought
that the best fonts to use where the very basic serif and sans serif. They are both
simple but do however still have differences. For example the serif font has more
curves on the end of the letters which could connotate more luxury and austerity. It
does this whilst also keeping the font very neutral as the body is still very basic. I will
be using more sans serif to serif font as the sans serif font can target the audience
more directly.
10. Style sheet colours
After looking at different colour wheels and colour schemes and experimenting with
colour grading I have decided on a analogous colour scheme. I have chosen this colour
scheme as it uses three colours that work together well and look aesthetically pleasing
to the audience. This colour scheme also worked well as it gives a feel of hard work
and fatigue but the green can balance it out to give it a more powerful and upbeat
feel. I will be using this colour scheme in my products colour grading, costume and
logo.
