Reminder:
Welcome to our week-long Choosing Ceremony. A new challenge will be posted daily. Your performance in the challenges will
reveal your true faction. Jeanine, aka Mrs. Stigge, will rank your performance based on your creativity and degree to which you
rise to the challenge. Only the most devoted will win prizes, and the ultimate performer will receive two tickets to see the
movie.
*All competitors must complete something for each of the challenges to be considered for prizes
Today’s challenge: Dauntless
WE BELIEVE
in shouting for those who can only whisper, in defending those who cannot defend themselves.
WE BELIEVE
not just in bold words but in bold deeds to match them
WE BELIEVE
that pain and death are better than cowardice and inaction, because
WE BELIEVE
in action.
As they say, courage is not the absence of fear. It is action in spite of the fear. Courage is different for
everyone. In the next 24 hours, you must complete an act of courage. (Do not attempt
anything that could physically injure you, or you will be disqualified.) It does not need to be an
outrageous act, but must simply be something that had an element of fear that you had to get over.
Document the act of courage in some way and submit to Jeanine (Mrs. Stigge) via
email, tweet @piperhslibrary or the folder outside the library before school starts
tomorrow.
