  1. Good Afternoon everyone! My name is Suneera Madhani and I am CEO and Founder of Fattmerhcant- your easy merchant services solution! Today- I am extremely excited to be here presenting at Nawbo and show you not only how the vague of industry of credit card processing works but also show you how we are changing the game and providing fast, affordable transaction tools to merchants across the nation.
  2. Currently, there are 28 million small to medium sized business in the us and over ½ a million new business opened each and every single month. Not only are the number of new busiensseses increasing but consumer behavior and spending patterns are changing as well.
  3. Customers are using less and less cash to purchase items and services and businesses are reliant upon banks and processors to help them process their current transactions and pay them in a timely manner.
  4. The industry really hasn’t changed much over the last 20 years where merchants are charged hefty percentages over cost and are charged numerous hidden fees . In addition they are stuck in endless contracts that never really expires. ADD BUBBLES OVER HEAD THAT SAY “HIDDEN FEES” “PERCENTAGE MARKUP” “IRS FEE” “STATEMENT FEE” ETC.
  5. There are 3 components of a merchant procsesing bill. The first are direct costs that come from visa master card and the card brands are same across the baord for every company. No matter if your First Data, bank of america, wells fargo or fattmerchant these costs known as internchange are exactly the same. The second component is the markup or basis point percentage. This is where merchant companies make their margins by adding on a % over those costs. Most of the time these 2 components are never fully explained to a merchant on how the percentages are calculated. The 3rd component of the merchant bill are the ancillary fees the banks and toher processors charge. Tehse fees include statemetn fees, pci compliance fees, batch fees, irs fees, monthly miniums, you name it we’ve seen it.

We at fattmechant are truly revolutionizing the industry because we are one of the only subscription based , flat rate, merchant services providers in the country- meaning we offer unlimited credit card processing at cost for a simple flat fee! To understand our business and business plan further you all must first understand how merchant are currently being billed.
  7. We’ve also spent the last year in ensuring our product is fast and efficeint for merchants. We’ve completely eliminated paper by getting everything streamlined online . Merchants can go online, pick a plan, apply and be processing within 24 hours. We also have true next day funding for merchants where the funds are deposited the very next day. These features really set us apart from other “flat rate” companies you might know of within the marketplace.
  8. You must be thinking- well suneera- if your giving everything at cost- how the hell are you ever going to make any money? When I took this idea to a couple of other processors – they thought the exact same thing- they actually thoght I was a little bit crazy in wanting to lower our margins by a ¼ of what we are making. However my goal was not to make a whole bunch of money on each and we would be happy with just make a little bit and disclosing our fees up front. Where we make money is by charging as mentioned our monthly plans- we have 3 plans to choose from and they range from $59 a month to $99. The difference between the plans are the cents per transaction as well as some added features within each plan . Add white background behind the left side!!!!!!!!

Also – we offer a variety of solutions for merchants aside from just your stand alone terminal- we offer virtual terminals for re-occuring billing, mobile solutions, and online shopping carts through partners such as authorize.net . – We are finding our ideal customer currently and want to find ourselves specific verticals and niche markets to focus on.
  10. Our go to market strtegy is really to find our nice within the marketplace thorugh generating customers via PPC and adwords. Also we also have and are looking to partner withs strategic alliances where we can easily intergraet our product. An example of this is we just signed with a company who has over relations with over 2000 spa’s and salons nation wide. We have integrated our product within their application and now will be a back end source for payment processing for those customers. In additon we will contineu with direct sales within our in house sales team and drive trafffic through social media, direct mail campaigns as well as e-blast.
