Total E&P UK. The project is to fabricate PARs and PAUs for an onshore LNG plant and good
dimensional control is required to ensure correct placement of these modules on site and that
piping interfaces are in the correct location to allow “single weld hook up” when the modules
are placed in position on Laggan-Toremore.
 Check critical dimensions of the fabricated structures before and after
Welding/installation/erection to have better control of dimensions of the offshore
structures.
 Perform dimensional survey upon fit-up and subsequent after welding for primary
structures of PARs and PAUs.
 Control and monitor progressively the dimension, alignment & distortion in various stages
of sub-assemblies and erection/installation forming of the PARs & PAUs.
 Checking Alignment of equipment’s Horizontal & Vertical, Pumps, Filters & Drum, and
preparing survey reports.
