3. MAJOR CHALLANGES
 Delay in continuous supply of Line Pipe.
 Delay in payment for execution of agreement with authorities.
 Payment Delay to contractor, not willing to mobilize the machinery and manpower.
 Truck association issues to be resolve to start full functional work at Keonjhar.
 Issue against ownership of IDCO/PWD Land.
 Stiff resistance of Encroachers who have encroached into corridors of NHAI, IDCO, PWD & RD roads (e.g. Residence
buildings, hotels, petrol pumps, shop keepers etc). District administration wants the request for demolition to come from
respective agencies and not from JSW.
 Unnecessary demand of villagers for CSR activities other than compensation.
 In many places, authorities have undertaken plantation in approved ROU corridor.
