This course provides a comprehensive overview of the knowledge and skills needed to become a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO). The 10 module course covers topics such as the roles and responsibilities of SENCOs, supporting teaching and learning for students with special needs, curriculum planning, and working with other organizations. Upon completion, students will gain a qualification to advance their career as a special needs teacher, teaching assistant, or other education professional. The online, self-paced course includes tutor support and assessments to test skills and knowledge.
