1. SyncoLite™ Glass Beads For Blast Cleaning
SyncoLite™ Glass Beads are an established blasting media for air assisted blasting applications using
pressure, induction suction and wet blasting principles. It is used for cleaning, conditioning or peening.
SyncoLite™ is manufactured from high-grade crushed and sized glass cullet, which is melted to a
spherical shape and annealed for uniform and controlled internal stresses and superior fracture
resistance.
These non abrasive transparent spheres function without any damage to the surface of the object or its
dimensions, embedment, contamination or pick-up. Based on the choice of size and operating
parameters, SyncoLite™ achievement of desired surface finish and texture from fine matte to bright
satin. By using masking stencils and blasting exposed surfaces with SyncoLite™ one can give special
effects or create decorative designs. Critically toleranced objects, dies, moulds, component etc. can be
cleaned, deburred, textured without removal of any base metal using SyncoLite™ which ensures the
sanctity of the critical tolerances, due to its intrinsic quality. The inherent strength of SyncoLite™ allows
it to survive multiple impacts, making it highly suitable for use in closed cycle blasting equipments with
recycling facilities. Being chemically inert, and non-toxic, SyncoLite™ does not leave any unwanted or
ferrous residues on blasted surfaces. Spent SyncoLite™ which is not contaminated is environmentally
harmless.
