SnowSugar Video Business Management Philosophy

  1. 1. Our Philosophy
  2. 2. Keep Living With Big Smiles We are in the business of keeping our community smiling big. We can’t do this alone.
  3. 3. We Work To Support Our Community’s Quality of Life in Style “What is the right thing to do as a human being?” By answering this valuable question and forming an attitude or style of morality, this philosophy leads to a better life in many aspects including friendships, marriage, and work.
  4. 4. Fans First If we do not have fans, we cannot run a business. Fans love our products and passions, and thus they buy our products. Our community is made of fans, teammates and their families, business partners, and the family and friends of the founder. Our profits go towards reinvesting for the next round of product production, our teammates and their family, our business partners, corporate tax, and donations to our society.
  5. 5. To Align the Vectors in the Same Direction to Rush to a Higher Goal In order to work together to accomplish a higher goal within a company, everyone should work based on the common philosophy that is understood by all. When everyone understands the philosophy, the higher goal shall be reached. Basically, the best results arrive, when everyone is on the same page, working together more effectively, as a team.
  6. 6. The Untrapped (Suano) Mind When you have too much self-interest, you will view things the way you want to see them rather than what is reality and actually right. The untrapped or suano mind is a state in which a person transcends concern for profit, loss, ideology, power, and status. In this state, one is able to grasp reality by evaluating everything objectively, free of self-interest and preconceptions. This state of mind allows for a broader perspective, that nurtures empathy, generosity, love, and benevolence towards others. With the suano mind, you can adapt to many situations and cope with different circumstances, allowing for a better and more fluid life following reason and truth.
  7. 7. Have a Joyous Heart Find joy in the small accomplishments of your work and live sincerely with a heart full of appreciation for everything that you have. The best way to stay strong throughout your long life is to work hard and be inspired by the positive energy that comes from joy and appreciation.
  8. 8. Always Be Cheerful and Positive Hold great dreams and hopes in the pureness of your heart. If you face one issue after another, the more challenging the circumstances are, the more optimistic, hopeful, and cheerful, you must be to overcome these challenges and gain positive results. An important rule to leading a better life when in the face of tragedy is to concentrate with the conviction of getting better by looking at life through a lens of positivity. In the end, it is only natural that positive and earnest efforts with a cheerful mind, will pay off in the long run.
  9. 9. Love Your Work If you love your work, you won’t care about how challenging it is. If you continuously overcome hardships, you will be able to succeed in most things. To say that loving your job will determine the course of your life is no exaggeration. Those who love their work, and live and die for they do, show a strong dedication that will lead them to happiness.
  10. 10. Drawing the Line Between Personal and Business Life If you are a freelancer who works from home, you need to set a time or area in your home to be used for work. When you are at work, you should only focus on tasks related to your work, rather than answering personal phone calls and emails.
  11. 11. What We Think Becomes a Reality Thought power is the key to creating your reality. Thoughts are the basis of everything you perceive in the physical world. By learning how to control your natural habitual thoughts, you become the master of your own destiny. By doing this, you will attract into your life what you intend to have and experience. This happens as you come to know the truth that your thoughts create your reality. If you think your company may fail, then it will fail. If you think your company will succeed no matter what, it will succeed.
  12. 12. For Every Outside Effect There Is an Inner Cause Every effect in the outside or physical world, has a mental basis. This is the essence of thought power. The conditions and circumstances of your life are a result of your collective thoughts and beliefs. “Circumstances do not make a man, they reveal him” - James Allen Every aspect of your life, whether it be financial or health related, accurately reveals your thoughts and beliefs, as those thoughts are what led you to your current state.
  13. 13. It’s an Inside Job Most people have it back to front. They believe that they think or feel a certain way because of their circumstances, not knowing the truth that it is their thought power that is creating those very circumstances, whether they are wanted or unwanted. To create the changes that you want to see in your life, you must internalize and apply the truth of the thought power leading to your circumstances. Reality creation is an inside job. Your reality depends all on your way of thinking.
  14. 14. Use Thought Power to Change Your Life Your subconscious mind is the storehouse of your deep-seated beliefs and programmes. Your must reprogram your subconscious mind to change your circumstances and attract what you want in life. Learning creative visualization is the most effective and practical way to reprogram your subconscious. This process is the basis of reality creation in which ones makes use of thought power to consciously imagine, create, and attract what one wants. Your imagination is the engine of your thoughts which converts thought power into mental images, which are in turn manifested in the physical realm.
  15. 15. Setting SMART Goals SMART is an acronym of the five characteristics of a good goal. Specific: Goals must be clear and unambiguous Measurable: If your goals are not measurable, you never know if you are making progress towards the completion of the goal. Achievable: Goals must be realistic and achievable. The best goals have to be reached for, but they are not extreme. Relevant: Goals must be an important tool in the grand scheme of reaching your goal/dream. Time-bound: Goals must have starting points, ending points, and fixed durations. Commitment to deadlines helps you to focus your efforts on completion of the goal on or before the due date.
  16. 16. SMART Goal Example Specific: Get a GPA of 3.5 and up this semester of college. Measurable: The goal is measurable through grades the professors give back for exams and projects. Achievable: This is a realistic goal as long as you focus on your work. 3.5 is not extreme like a 4.0, which is a perfect GPA. Relevant: This goal is relevant to pursuing your career after college, as good grades reflect on your skill and knowledge. Time-bound: This goal starts in the fall and ends in winter. It lasts one semester.
  17. 17. Formula for Success Result of Life or Work = Attitude x Effort x Ability Result of a person’s work can be expressed as the person’s attitude/mindset or approach (their philosophy), multiplied by their effort, and then multiplied by their ability. The most important part of this formula is the product of ability and effort, which is multiple by a score for attitude. The scores for both ability and effort can range from 0 to 100, but the attitude factor covers both good attitude and bad attitudes, so the scores for this actually range from -100 to +100. Because these values are multiplied, a positive attitude yields higher values than negative attitude. By having even a slight negative attitude, the whole solution can become negative. When more ability and more effort is put into life and work by a person, along with a negative attitude, the end result will be negative.
  18. 18. Reflect on Our Behavior Each Day Though we may try to elevate our minds throughout the course of our lives, it is easier said than done. Unless you are a true saint, it is difficult to remain steadfast in thinking only good thoughts and doing only good deeds. No one is perfect. First, you must strive to think good thoughts and do good deeds and, second, you must humbly reflect upon any bad thoughts and bad deeds you may have done. We can reflect on our actions each day and promise to ourselves to do our best to change in the right direction starting the next day. This type of reflection allows us to avoid failure in work and elevate our minds.
  19. 19. HO-REN-SO/RSC “HO-REN-SO (Japanese) or RSC (English) is a way of information sharing by way of aligning member’ understandings and synchronizing actions about changing circumstances that happen in out of an organization.” Report: Bad news should always be reported first because this allows us to prevent the bad news from forming into the worst news. We can take early action. Share: Share the news with your teammates. Be specific when you share the news and include the 5Ws (who, what, when, where, what way). Consult: When you are stuck, consult with an advisor. Think about the matter with the help of the advisor. “The cause of all upsets falls into one of three categories: undelivered communications, thwarted intentions, or unfulfilled expectations.” - Landmark Education
  20. 20. Working Enables Us to Mature If you want to live a wonderful life, you must work hard. The greatest goal of working is to cultivate our minds and enhance our humanity. You must concentration and work diligently and earnestly to mature as humans and build deep and rich characters.
  21. 21. Set Your Goal High Setting unrealistically high goals raises your performance to the level of expectation. When you are around the best, read about the best, think about the best, eventually you begin to expect to do your best in your own life. Even if it is entirely subconscious, there will be a mental or internal click that pushes you towards excellence. This is why your association and environment matters as they both influence expectations about yourself. There are many people who could have been great professionals like scientists, entrepreneurs, and peacemakers, but they did not in the end because they never became aware of their potential to do great things. Eagles who hang out with chickens for too long may forget how to fly. By setting phenomenal goals, you are intentionally focusing on the best, and your behavior will follow suit.
