While accurate calculations are difficult, it was determined that energy conservation with the pool blanket and the liquid pool cover were the same.

The question that has not been answered in terms of safety is; if this long-chain of organic molecular layer greatly limits the evolvement of water vapor, does it also impede the nitrogen and trihalomethange gassing off during break point chlorination?
