The Army provides many avenues of support to ensure Families receive the assistance they require. One organization that assists in this endeavor is the Family Readiness Group (FRG).
The Mission of the FRSA is to maintain the continuity and stability of Family Readiness Groups (FRGs) as units undergo changes in volunteers and leadership.
The FRG is a command sponsored organization of all assigned Soldiers and their Family members along with civilians and volunteers who together provide mutual support, assistance, and a network of communications among the Family members, the chain of command, and community resources.
The mission of the FRG is to act as an extension of the unit in
