a funnel to direct our clients to various integrated
programs, therapies and practical support required to
bring our clients to a place of balance and mental

Executive Summary
Alive is excited to open sponsorship opportunities to for corporate members to support young Australians at risk of self harm.
Founders of Alive have over 10 years providing sustainable recovery for youth and young adults aged 15 to 25 vulnerable to self harm. Programs are
designed to enhance their resilience, build self esteem and learn tools that assist with management of their own lives. Alive provides aid to our clients
through various forms of learning such as animal assist therapy to art therapy and martial arts.
By proactively supporting Alive, sponsors will contribute to saving the lives of many Australian youths and young adults that may have had ended up
as part of the suicide statistic in the present time in their lives or when they get older. Sponsors provide hope for the social fabric of the local
community and become leading examples of socially responsible corporate role modelling. Alive will provide sponsors with opportunities to promote
their services as partners to the cause of Australian suicide prevention and through channels such as our newsletters, website, events and media
exposure.

The latest (2014) statistical reference from Australian Bureau of Statistics cites suicide to be the LEADING cause of
death for those aged 15 to 44.
The lost of a loved one is a life changing event
that only affects the living.
The ripple effects of the lost is tremendous and traumatic.
The overwhelming waves of confusion, guilt, shame and sadness drains
those that are left behind and metaphorically
kills them with every memory.

About Us
Alive’s service is a nationwide, independent, non-profit, philanthropic organisation with no religion biasness. Alive uses
methods, which are inline with clinical psychology as well as alternative means of support. This holistic approach to our
clients’ care plan enables Alive to reach out in ways that are better fit. Supporting with the practical and emotional
elements that contribute to a balanced and healthy mental state.

Alive caters a 12 month program of coaching for emotional resilience, confidence and life skills. Givin participants the
ability to deal with over-whelming pressure and anger through Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu or the self confidence and nurturing
aspects of horse riding. In particular, the program seeks to help vulnerable youth and young adults at risk of self harming
to:
• Build their self esteem and confidence
• Manage anxiety, stress and anger
• Dealing with bullying and emotional release
• Problem solving skills
• Enhance their resilience
• Learn practical life skills
• Learn employable skills
What We Do
Alive is not just another awareness campaign. We do the work with our clients to Intervene and Prevent Suicide.
