behavior not by overfishing, over grazing and over polluting the
environment and so on…

13. The planetary boundaries concept presents a
set of nine planetary boundaries within which
humanity can continue to develop and thrive
for generations to come.

14. Recently,a group of scientists proposed how to assess
the health of the global commons because the global
commons are in danger now.
Also the figure shows us that ,
1.The nine planet boundaries vital to our survival.
2.How far we could go before we cross over the tripping
points or threholds that would lead us to the irreversible
or even catastropic change.

15. 3.Of the nine boundaries, the researchers report that four of these have now
been crossed.
4.Xtinction rate (one of two indicators for biosphere integrity), deforestation,
atmospheric carbon dioxide (an indicator for climate change), and the flow of
nitrogen and phosphorus.
5.We have crossed four out of those boundraies ,and we will crossing others in
the future.
CURRENT STATE

16. These global commons are
“The very foundation of our global economy and
modern society”.
They are the resources that are used by people all
around the world,
but they are not being used wisely .

17. Reason behind the notion of the global commons was not entering into the big money
decisions.
 We are destroying the resources faster than they can be replenished
 One possible reason behind this might be that it didn`t really matter too
much.Because the global commons had still enough capacity to take the puenches
we gave them
 We have crossed four out of those boundaries ,and we will crossing others in the
future

18. Each living being on Earth knows the importance of Earth in our lives. Without
Earth, we cannot even imagine living..

19. When you consume less power, you reduce the amount of toxic fumes
released by power plants, conserve the earth's natural resources and
protect ecosystems from destruction.

Powering our home with solar panel
can lessen our electric bills, recoil
our carbon impression expansion
our home's value. Let us
demonstrate how simple it is.

of power use in office structures. Make it
a habit to turn off the lights When leaving
any space. Same goes for gadgets;
switch off electrical extensions and
unplug electrical gadgets when you're not
utilizing.

You can drive your auto less and secure

countries recommend repairing of
leaking air condition of your car that
adversely destroys the upper layer of
ozone atmosphere

periods.

predicted growth, continued livestock production is
an environmental and planetary catastrophe for the
Earth and its inhabitants. It can lead to:
 Social unrest, war, disease, widespread food and
water shortages, exodus of refugees.
Catastrophes have no preferences; everyone is
affected.

29. The coalition of stakeholders are getting together with one common goal,
“To provide enough healthy food for everyone and to remove
the footprint of food chain from local commons”

30. Thailand is one of the largest
producer of oil palm which is
used to produce palm oil, a
widely used element in our
food system causing a huge
global demand. Finally which
is resulting in mass
deforestation.

31. Every person or group of people related to the production chain claims
that they can not change the system all on a sudden by their own but
only by working under a new kind of contract or working procedure. By
this they may be able to bring a change.

32. People are trying to transform the food system. They are also trying to
introduce a new kind of social contract to manage the global commons.

33. Change begins at home. I am the
change, you are the change. We
must keep the interest of global
commons in our center. If
everyone is keep standing on the
sideline rather than stepping in,
the global commons will continue
to deteriorate. We must
remember, we all breath in the
same air, drink the same water,
share the same forestation.

34. We must embrace the global commons.
Its not a myth.
It’s a fact which none can deny.
Deterioration of it will harm us all.

35. Global Commons must be kept operative within their safe operating
space and we can only do it……
