The passenger has the option
to book a taxi either on the
initial booking page or on the
interactive map. The current
address is then automatically
displayed due to the advanced
GPS technology. SmartPlaces
our
proactive
address
qualification system then
displays the most relevant and
previous pick up addresses
around the selected
pick up area.

To further validate the
booking, the next step will
require the passenger to
confirm and complete the
booking request.
During which, the customer
can select to enter additional
information such as pick up
point or number of taxis

The booking form is fully

Upon confirmation of the
booking by the taxi company
the passenger will be able to
view the status of each
individual booking as well as
the estimated arrival time.
Indicators will show the status:
“Awaiting
Approval”, “Confirmed”, “Canc

The passenger has the possibility to cancel the booking throughout
the whole process. Should cancellation be triggered the respective

TaxiBookr’s TaxiDrivr Mobile Data Terminal (MDT)
application transforms a standard Smartphone, to

Bookings requests will be gathered from the different booking channels and will be displayed in in the “New” column
visible to all logged in users. The available call center agent can then take over the dispatching process by clicking the
reserve booking button. Upon which the booking will be removed in the “New” column and will now appear in the “For
Dispatch” column.
Dispatch
The ‘For Dispatch’ state indicates those bookings that need to be dispatched to the taxi fleet / drivers. In normal cases
the dispatcher user will select the ‘Dispatched’ option once they have dispatched the booking to the taxi fleet / drivers.
In certain cases the dispatcher user may want to move the booking back to the ‘New’ state, in which case they will select
the ‘Un‐Reserve’ option.
For Cancel
The ‘For Cancel’ state indicates those bookings that were previously dispatched and confirmed (i.e. allocated to a driver),
but have subsequently been cancelled by the consumer. As such, each driver needs to be notified that the booking has
been cancelled. Once the dispatcher user has notified the driver of the booking cancellation he/she can select the
‘Cancelled’ option to remove the booking from TaxiDispatchr.
Dispatched
The ‘Dispatched’ state indicates those bookings that have previously been dispatched to the taxi fleet / drivers and that are
awaiting a confirmed taxi / driver to service the booking. Once the details of the confirmed taxi / driver are known, the
dispatcher user will provide the necessary details about the taxi / driver (i.e. ETA, Taxi Id) and will then select the
‘Confirmed’ option to move the booking to the ‘Confirmed’ state.
Confirmed
The ‘Confirmed’ state indicates those bookings that have previously been confirmed and allocated to a taxi / driver. In
normal case the dispatcher user will select the ‘Picked Up’ once they have received confirmation from the driver that
the consumerhas been picked up. This will then remove the booking from TaxiDispatchr.
In certain cases the dispatcher user may need to cancel the booking by selecting the ‘Cancel’ option. For example, the
consumer could manually cancel their Booking via the booking hotline.

as TaxiDispatchr. TaxiBookr Cloud provides timely updates pertaining
to both the driver location and availability status.
