The podcast is filmed as
well as being audio, this
is posted to the
YouTube channel and
the plain audio version
is uploaded to different
platforms such as
Podcasts via Apple.
The podcasts only
ever has one guest
and topics talks
about are things
based on the guest
as well as general
events going
around the
world/internet and
media.

The misfits podcast is
a existing product
that I personally
listen to often. The
group ‘Misfits’ is
made up of 6 friends
who all have online
personas; Zuckels
(Mason); Fitz
(Cameron) and
others.
They do podcasts weekly
and most of the time they
are audio only but
sometimes do real life
shows. They don’t have
any type of setout topics
or discussions. They just
talk about what ever
someone says.
They only ever have the
same 6 people and don’t
have other people joining.
They all are aged in young
20’s so the topics are more
mature. The target
audience is aimed to a
younger audience due to
the informal language
used. They also have many
positives reviews being
one of the top rated
podcasts on the App Store
currently.
They have talks about
what is currently
happening that involves
such as; YouTube and news
that concerns them.

• The last podcast is the h3h3 podcast that is hosted on YouTube as well the podcast on the app store. The
show is presented by a you tuber and personality Ethan Klein, he hosts the show with celebrity's and big
names every week. He will have people that are relevant to him and YouTube situations that effect the
platform. He also has guests that have nothing to do with it such as popular names and interesting. He will
often bring his wife in the casts as well for a second opinion. They talk about topics based on who is with
them such as past events or things that fans of h3h3 would like to know. The show is a lot more laid back
and is very informal with the language they use.

• What common features do the researched
products have?They all are done with groups of people that a friends
and know each other well so that its all done in a informal way while talking and
doing things that is all natural and none of it is scripted. The settings for them is
set out in a non professional way making it more friendly to the listener or viewer
• What aspects of the research will you include
within your on work?I will do my podcast in the same laid-back
style that all the others do as well as the non scripted flow that the topics are
talked about. Also, I works better when you just carry on with the topics instead of
taking many pauses because of changing what you are talking about.

would naturally gain a

• The content is not going to be aimed to one gender at all
but the content covered will be things I have a opinion
on.

to anyone and doesn’t
make it so that some

it and enjoy it.
• The content talked about will be just on trending topics
so it will include someone for all psychographic groups.

There is no one type of
group it is aimed to as it
doesn’t cost anything to
view.
• The content is all free so that anyone can enjoy it and
you'll need nothing to view it. You’ll need no type of
payments to access it but you would need a device to
view it on but this wouldn’t disable anyone from seeing
it.
