1. Dear Sir/Madam
I trust this letter finds you and the team in good health.
Currently I am employed at mid-sized marketing company for over 19 months which has enabled me
to engage with leading firms such as Santam, Moody's and Citi Bank respectively, regarding their
marketing objectives within the power and utilities sphere targeting SADC and East African
countries.
During my current employment I have been grateful to gain valuable experience in direct senior B2B
& B2G engagement. A majority of the skills gained are market research, negotiating and client
relationship management, but arguably the greatest ideology ingrained into me is how to cultivate
the no.
To enhance my career I have enrolled within the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants) to ensure that I am equipped with the practical knowledge and skills to analyse and
implement the experience I have gained thus far. I truly believe that experience trumps academic
knowledge, thus as a person who has had the pleasure of closing and developing new key accounts
such as Moody's Investor Services, Marsh Africa and AIIM, by enveloping myself in the diverse world
of project financing, risk insurance and the energy sphere. Based on my commitment to learn what
the client's needs are, matching the value of our services for their benefit and finally producing
results that are beyond targets and personal KPI's.
As a conscientious person who understands the value of working hard, regardless of the day of the
week or public holiday, it is essential that I take the cards that life has dealt me and continue to
reshuffle them until I play a winning hand. We as South Africans are in living in turbulent times
economically, politically and socially, this is not the time to falter in front of looming challenges, but
rather continue to steer forward through whatever waves life may throw at us, therefore I hope this
letter aides in consideration for a position to entrust me with the skills to navigate through the
storms and contribute to the company.
Make a great year.
Sincerely,
Thabo Khoza
