2. What have you learnt about technologies
from the process of constructing this
product?

3. From start to finish including the productions I have been using
technology to produce my work. I have used blogger to display my
work and a number of different technologies to produce it. the pieces
of software and technologies that I have used to produce my entire
blog are;
• Microsoft power point
• Slide share
• Googles Blogger
• Adobe Photoshop CS3 + CS5.1
• Cannon 600D + 50mm lens
• Light setup for photography
• Facebook for focus group
• Youtube
• Plus search engines to find relevant information

4. Photography
For every photo that was taken and used in my final
pieces I had taken about 60 photos for every
different lighting setup and every photo would be
slightly different as I change setting such as shutter
speed, focus, aperture and iris. To learn how to use
the camera I firstly took some one on one
instruction from my teacher and secondly done
some of my own research into how to use the
camera and lens online. As fa as lighting was
concerned I had 3 soft lights and one ultra bright
light these I also had a white background that I took
full advantage of. To learn how to light the photos I
once again consulted YouTube for information.

5. I used adobe Photoshop to edit my photos this is because it’s
the software I am able to use both in school and outside of
school. also it is a standard software that is very powerful if
used correctly. there is load of information online about
Photoshop so finding out how to get different effect is really
easy. I have used Photoshop in the past for art and dt project
it therefore has a very common interface that I'm at home
with. With the basics already pretty much mastered I decided
for the front cover I would try and make a double exposure
something that I had wanted to do for a long time. I therefore
had to find out how to used different features of Photoshop
such as merging layers tool and light levels. Although a lot
can be enhanced in the editing stages good well
photoshopped pieces to really on the original photo being
good quality with no blur.

6. The Internet
The internet to most people of my generation is
second nature. I am therefore at home with the
idea of using search engines, social media and
forums to find out and post information. However
I was learning how to use blogger and slide
share as there are two websites that I have
previously not used. I think that I have used
these platforms affectively to achieve a really
nice looking blog that should be easy to follow
for anyone that might visit the site.
