CLAYTON STATE UNIVERSITY BOOKSTORE
 Overall sales in FY 16 up by 5.9% over FY 15. EOY profitability at 14% of total sales.
 Piloted RedShelf digital eBook program 2016.
 Started Textbook Affordability Committee and serve on Provost’s Course Materials Advisory Committee 2015-
2016.
 Successfully piloted an Inclusive Access program for 100% sell-through to students at negotiated discount pricing
2015.
 Represent Clayton State on the National Association Board of Trustees as Trustee for the East 2014-2017.
 Successfully instituted a robust textbook rental and e-book sales program 2011.
 Oversaw sales increase of 9.35% in August, 2012, over August, 2011. 135% increase in rental units.
 Improved annual sales from $3.8 to $4.1 million, FY12 vs. FY11.
 Quoted in two separate articles in one issue of The College Store magazine. CAMEX 2012 session was lead article
in Campus Marketplace.
 Wrote grant applications and received two National Association of College Stores (NACS) grants in 2010.
 Increased used book sales by 29% over previous fiscal year, FY11 vs. FY10.
 All GM categories have grown over last fiscal year. Computer sales up 68% over LY.
 Oversaw tradebook department, which saw more sales in August 2010 than all of previous fiscal year. Double
digit increases in category for two years running 2010-2011.
MACON STATE COLLEGE BOOKSTORE
 Increased annual net sales from $2.4 million to $4.5 million in four years.
 Improved overall annual profits from $82 thousand (in year prior to becoming manager) to $651 thousand in last
year there.
 Last four annual physical inventories showed less than 1% shrinkage variance. Responsible for oversight of all
areas of retail operations and administration for three campus stores with $3.5 million in annual sales.
BARNES & NOBLE
 Improved annual net sales by 21% in first year in position.
 Store rose from bottom 50 to #1 for entire chain in Discount Card Sales within two years.
 Responsible for all areas of bookstore management. Oversaw staff of 20 – 25 during peak times.
BOOKS-A-MILLION
 Led Southeastern region in Sales Increase in 1996. Oversaw staff of 50+ during peak times.
 Received bonus both years for annual inventory shrinkage under 2%.
