America has lost 6 million jobs during the Great Recession and needs a plan to create jobs rather than finger pointing. The 50X5 Plan proposes using small business counselors in each state to help 50 businesses each achieve $50,000 in monthly sales. This would generate $312 billion in new sales and create over 6 million new jobs through business growth and manufacturing job multipliers.

1. America has lost 6 million jobs during the Great Recession. Finger pointing at a political party, regulator or business sector does not help the man or woman looking for a job. America needs a plan, not pointing.

2. We have a plan to create 6 million jobs.

3. Our plan capitalizes on the POWER of MULTIPLICATION We call it the 50X5 Plan

4. We begin with the 50 STATES

5. 50 states x 50 counselors from Small Business Development Centers = 2,500 counselors

6. 2,500 counselors x 50 businesses = 125,000 new businesses

7. Each new business creates a plan to achieve monthly sales of $50,000

8. 50 states x 50 counselors x 50 businesses x $50,000 per month = $6,250,000,000

9. 50X50X50X50X50= $312,500,000,000 That’s $312 Billion!

10. Each $100,000 of new sales creates a new job in America $100,000 = 1 job

11. That’s 3,125,000 new JOBS!

12. And, if 25% of the 3 million new jobs are in Manufacturing

13. Studies show that every new job in Manufacturing creates 4 more jobs 3,125,000 X 25% = 781,250 X 4 = 3, 125,000 additional new jobs!
