STO :
Stock transport order has got the following scenarios :
A) Stock replenishment between two storage locations of one plant :
1) one step procedure - 311
2) Two step procedure - 313 & 315
B) Stock replenishment between two plants of one company code :
a) without SD delivery :
i) without UB (STO): 1) One step procedure 301, 2) Two step procedure 303 & 305
ii) With UB (STO) : ME21N → MB1B (movement type 351) → MIGO
b) with SD delivery - UB (Stock transport order)
Perform the STO related IMG settings
ME21N (STO) → VL10B → VL02N [Subsequent functions > Create Transfer Order
(LT03)] and carry out the PGI
C) Stock transfer between two plants of two different company code by using document
type NB with SD delivery.
Movement types :
A) 1 plant; 2 storage locations
1 step procedure : Movement type 311 (transfer posting from storage loc. to storage
loc.)
2 step procedure : Movement type 313 (transfer stock from sl to sl1 - remove from sl)
Movement type 315 (transfer stock from sl to sl1 - in storage)
B) 2 plants, 1 company code
1 step proc. movmnt. type 301 (Transfer posting from plant to plant)
2 step proc. movmnt type 303, 305 (transfer posting plant to plant- remove from storage
&, to storage respectively)
(With UB)
movmnt. type 351 (transfer posting to stock in transit from unrestricted use)

PROCESS FLOW :
A), 1) : 1000/0001 to 1000/0002 : MM01 with warehouse view : warehouse no. 010
Storage type 005
Extend the material to both SLs.
MB1C will be used for initializing the stock
MB1B will be used for stock transfer with movmnt. type 311
A), 2) : At MB1B change in mvmnt. types will take place.
B) : 1000/0001 to 1100/0001
B), a), i), 1) : Extend the MM01 to 1100/0001
MB1B, movmnt. type : 301
, i), 2) : MB1B, movmnt. type : 303 & 305
B), a), ii) : ME21N, create PO with UB document type ( Create an STO)
Supplying plant 1000, receiving plant 1100
1100 raises PO against 1000
Note PO number , Go to MB1B
Go to MIGO & post the stock with reference to UB.
B), b) : set up STO (also with the activation/deactivation of the one step button)
ME21N (Create STO) → VL10B (Purchase orders due for delivery) → VL02N (To
create transfer order through subsequent functions, LT03) → Do the PGI under VL02N.
C) Configuration Settings to be done for this NB i.e. PO. with a pricing procedure
ZIV002 & cond. type ZIVU. Then ME21N → VL10B → PGI → VF01 (Doc type ZIVU)

 Checking rule (related to availability check): Define & Assign
 Document type and one step procedure
