I have created this presentation to highlight some of
my greatest work and talents obtained throughout my
years at Northwood University.
Currently in my senior year, my focus has been to
achieve my Bachelor’s of Business Administration with
a major in finance.
4. Goals
Within one year, my goal is to finish my college career in
May and beginning my career in finance.
I expect to remain fully focused and fully engaged in
market affairs while broadening my skillset as I progress
further into the finance world.
I will use my skills to my greatest ability in order to achieve
my utmost potential.
I plan to grow to be a large member of my community
through volunteer work and donations to great causes.

For more than three decades, Amer icans have been deeply pola r ized over the
issue of abor t ion. While the deba t e on abor t ion involves secula r ist s a s well a s people
of every religious t radit ion, the issue ha s become la rgely fought over among
Chr ist ians because of st rong views on both sides. Genera lly, the deba t e ha s been
ca s t in t er m s of “p r o-life” views a n d “p r o-ch oice” views , bu t it is clea r ly a m u ch m or e
complex issue for Chr ist ians.
The lega lity of abor t ion wa s confirmed in 1973 when the Unit ed St a t es
Supreme Cour t st ruck down a Texa s st atut e tha t prohibit ed abor t ion procedures, no
ma t ter how medica lly urgent they might be. This decision, commonly refer red t o
as Roe v. Wade, is the most impor t ant lega l milestone in the debat e. In it s decision,
the Cour t a cknowledged tha t it cannot rule a s t o when life begins, since even those
in medicine, theology, and philosophy have no consensus on this ma t t er .
Chr ist ian pro-life advoca t es insist tha t a ll human life is sa cred and tha t
human life begins a t the moment of concept ion. From the point of view of pro-life
Ch r is t ia n s , Am er ica ’s a bor t ed fet u s es a r e u n bor n ba bies wh o a r e k illed t h r ou gh t h e
process. As Pope J ohn Paul II st at ed it , “Th e lega liza t ion of t h e t er m in a t ion of
pregnancy is none other than the author izat ion given t o an adult , with the approva l

d efen d in g t h em s elves ” (Paul, 1994). The most voca l opposit ion to abor t ion ha s come
