Helped craft presentation notes and slides for the
following:
 Professors
 Student presenters
 Template for all to use in order to keep continuity
Conclusion
Letter of RecommendationRecommendations/Concerns
 In the future, have the presenters sit in the order they are to
speak in to ease the flow of the event
 Encourage the visiting students to engage themselves and
ask more questions
 Provide a pen and paper in welcoming packets so that
parents or students can take notes during the presentations
 Include a map of the college campus that one can refer to
when on tours after the event
 Since the lapel microphones are sensitive it may be a good
idea to lower the overall volume and instead have the
presenters speak louder
 Conduct rehearsals in the same location as the event in
order to make student presenters feel more comfortable in
the larger auditorium
Observations
 All of the parents were very impressed at the level of
professionalism and involvement portrayed from student
presenters
 Many of the students were interested in J-Term trips,
internships, as well as study abroad opportunities.
 Most of the parents were impressed with the level of
involvement from professors with the students inside and
outside of the classroom
 Overall, given all positive comments and high conversion
rate in the past, the event should be viewed as a complete
success for Carthage College.
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to you in support of Tyler Wagner. Though many students ask me for letters of
recommendation, I only recommend students whom I feel are truly exceptional. Tyler is one of
those few students and therefore, it is my pleasure to give him my highest recommendation.
I had the pleasure of having Tyler as a student in my Principles of Marketing (2013) class where he
was one of the top performers in the class. He demonstrated high academic performance in the
class and volunteered as a “study buddy” to help underperforming classmates with their studies.
In addition, I serve as Chairman of the Board for Velocity Consulting, a unique student run, full-
service consulting company (ConsultVelocity.com). Tyler was the Account Executive (project
manager) for a major project called “Carthage Business Information Session”; a half-day program
for more than 75 people interested in attending Carthage College.
During the project, I came to depend on his leadership, dedication and organizational skills as he
helped coordinate all aspects of the project. This included meeting with executives within Carthage
College, developing schedules/timelines, securing 14 different speakers, dress rehearsals, onsite
logistics and coordination of 11 Velocity Consulting staff workers.
Tyler’s enthusiasm, motivation and commitment to excellence serve him well and he ran the
project flawlessly.
Without question Tyler Wagner is a great student with tremendous potential and will represent
your organization in the highest manner.
If you should need any additional information feel free to contact me at 262.551.5886 or by email.
