Mission of Class Agent Program Obtain more accurate alumni contact information, with emphasis on reconnecting with ‘lost’ alumni.  Improve communication among alumni Engage alumni in the University through events and volunteer opportunities Help coordinate special year reunions: 10, 25, 50 year Increase alumni support to UD
Why serve as a Class Agent? Class agents, as alumni leaders and UD ambassadors, positively impact the lives of current and future students, fellow alumni, and the university community as a whole.
The role of Class Agent Liaisons Communicators Stewards Motivators
Liaisons Allow us to place your name and contact info on alumni website as a resource for alumni in your class Help us: Identify great potential volunteers from your class for: College fairs Internship placement Mentors Identify Reunion event ideas, locations and marketing concepts
Communicators Share information with us about : Alumni demographic changes from your class Concerns you’re hearing from your class Share information about UD with alumni from your class We’ll send you UD newsworthy items once a month that you can use
Stewards Let us know about alumni from your class who: Should be recognized for Distinguished Alumni Awards Help out UD  Should be contacted for Class Notes updates Should be featured in The View
Motivators Encourage alumni in your class to:  Get involved as Admissions volunteers Mentors Internship hosts Event hosts Attend events Talk about UD to prospective students/parents

Goals Obtain more accurate alumni contact information, with emphasis on reconnecting with ‘lost’ alumni.  Improve communication among alumni. Build synergy between UD and alumni.  Increase alumni giving and participation to the University of Dallas.
Class Agent Program Updates With your help, there were154 gifts and pledges contributing $27,974 to the University of Dallas.  Class Agent efforts have led to a 21% increase in total dollars raised from alumni in fiscal year 2011 over 2010.  And, 10% more alumni have supported UD this year as compared to the prior year.
University Updates Fall 2010 Enrollment 1,337 undergraduates 1,506 graduates 126 Full-time faculty 28 majors, 27 concentrations and minors
Undergraduate Demographics From 49 states and 15 countries 82% Catholic Average class size: 17 Faculty/Student ratio:  13:1 Average SAT of Fall 2010: 1210 Average ACT of Fall 2010:  27 Most popular undergraduate majors Business English Biology Politics
Graduate Demographics From 40 states  From 43 countries  32% minority  34% Catholic Average Class Sizes: Graduate School of Management: 21 Braniff: 16 School of Ministry: 9
UD Bests	 80% of our undergraduate graduates continue on to graduate school within 5 years of graduation 85% of pre-med students accepted to med school 90% of pre-law students accepted to law school 100% of education students pass Texas certification exam
UD Bests More National Merit Scholars per capita than any Catholic university.  22 in Fall 2011 entering class. 24 in Fall 2010 entering class. The studio arts program was named one of the top programs in the nation by Parade magazine The Catholic Biblical School in the School of Ministry is the largest program of its kind among all Catholic universities in the US UD was ranked as one of the top 38 schools for Biology majors by Princeton Review

Reunion 2011 Everyone is invited! 74 hours of scheduled events over 3 days 37 designated Reunion Events distributed over 9 audience, event, and stakeholder themes: 8 class events 4 faculty events 4 liturgy events 3 college events 3 entertainment events 3 family events 2 couples events 2+ campus events 17 marketing pushes between February 2011 and October 2012 3 pricing regimes: early bird, per event, and “do it all” 1 overall goal - to cultivate alumni engagement at the University of Dallas

Discovery Initiative – utilizing students to reconnect with alumni Goal: Create stronger ties with UD alumni and find out how the University can be relevant to their lives now Tap into the resources and expertise that our alumni community has to offer students and the University Create networking and learning opportunities for current UD students Summer areas: DFW – 4 students – goal of 85 alumni Chicago – 1 student – goal of 20 alumni San Antonio – 1 student – goal of 20 alumni
