GENERAL OBJECTIVE
• To propose a plan to improve teaching
English through textiles in a 12th graders in
Vocacional Monseñor Sanabria High School.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
1. To analyze the program of Textiles.
2. To identify the available literature related to Textiles.

3. To find out about the knowledge that students have
of textile tools.

4. To describe the importance of tools in textiles class.

M.E.P does not bring workshop to teachers
The program of Textiles for twelve grader do
not have projects
There is not enough literature related to
Textiles
Students do not have enough knowledge of
Textiles tools
Students are aware of the importance of tools
RECOMMENDATIONS
• One possible solution could be to have projects where the student could
made different kinds of task and share their experiences during the
process of making it.
• Moreover the MEP can do different activities or workshops to prepare
teachers to have a technical class according to the students ‘needs.

• One recommendation is to have the opportunity to look for readings at
the internet and also if it is possible to have it in class so students will be
able to navigate for information related to Textiles and visit web sites
• A suggestion could be to train teachers with computers in the textile field
and also with the new sewing machines that work with computer
programs.
PROPOSAL
• The Color Wheel.
• Working with waste fabric.
• Different kinds of Embroidery in different kinds of fabrics.
• Clothing Production
•

  • 14. CONCLUSIONS M.E.P does not bring workshop to teachers The program of Textiles for twelve grader do not have projects There is not enough literature related to Textiles Students do not have enough knowledge of Textiles tools Students are aware of the importance of tools
  • 15. RECOMMENDATIONS • One possible solution could be to have projects where the student could made different kinds of task and share their experiences during the process of making it. • Moreover the MEP can do different activities or workshops to prepare teachers to have a technical class according to the students ‘needs. • One recommendation is to have the opportunity to look for readings at the internet and also if it is possible to have it in class so students will be able to navigate for information related to Textiles and visit web sites • A suggestion could be to train teachers with computers in the textile field and also with the new sewing machines that work with computer programs.
