Description:
The project involved the verification and validation of EPB3 (Electric Park
Brake) software. The static analysis was performed on the complete EPB
software using PR QA-C Static Source code analyzer – 7.0. The software was
verified for conformance to MISRA C Guidelines. Also run-time analysis was
performed on complete EPB software using PolySpace – 2009B.
Failsafe/White Box Testing for conformance of system reactions according to
the spec under different system failures. These activities were performed for
different releases of the EPB Software.
Contribution:
1) Responsible for carrying out static & run-time analysis for EPB Software.
2) The test harness and the source code tuning required for the run of
PolySPace and QAC was determined.
3) Procedural documents for QA-C Analysis, PolySpace Analysis, Design
Guidelines, Shared variables Analysis & documenting best practices
4) Worked on Automation of PolySpace and QAC testing by creating wizard.
5) Failsafe Testing is organized to observe system behavior and the display
information to driver whenever some critical faults occur in system.
6) Test plan and test cases were generated for CANTATA testing once the
test harness is done. Test case was executed with more than 95% code
coverage.
