1869 , French sculptor Bartholdi tried to convince Egyptian Government to let him
build a structure inspired by the Colossus of Rhodes at its Mediterranean end,

Jeevan Naiya is film made by Himanshu Rai’s Bombay Talkies in 1936. The lead pair
of the movie, Najm-ul-Hasan and X (Himanshu Rai’s wife), fell in love with each other

loss of credit among bankers in the city while the runaway couple made merry.

to do because she saw that as ignominious and an insult to her faith. Instead she agreed
to give away something else. Soon her example was followed by other members of her
