3. ABSTRACT
• the word “auto pilot” mode here refers to the process of implementing the advanced
technology in vehicles enables It to self-drive in high way roads without the control of the
Humans.
• This process is going to be achieved by the use of radars, sensors and advanced GPS
maps.
• First aid compact both of the place where user wants to go his selected on the GPS map.
4. INTRODUCTION
This auto pilot mode technology is a research project.By implementing this technology in vehicles
enables it to self-drive Hindi highway roads without the control of the humans. This technology
create a new revolution in the automobile and transport field.it helps they user to save their
valuable time which is wasted while driving and it is not an necessary for the drivers to be always
seated Hindi driver seat except the places, where this signals and road counters present.Mini
accidents aur occurred due to the carelessness of the drivers. This can be avoided by implementing
this autopilot mode of technology.
5. WHAT IS DRIVERLESS CAR?
• It is a vehicle that can drive itself from one point another without assistance from a driver, In other words,
with an autopilot system.
6. MAJOR COMPONENTS OF THISTECHNOLOGY
This technology contents major four components.they are,
1. Radars
2. Sensors
3. Advanced GPS mapping system
4. Display unit
7. HOW ITWORKS ?
This technology depends upon the components which represented above.First the compact map to the
place where the user wants to go his selected on the GPS maps in the display unit. When the user starts
the engine all the equipment’s will take positioning. The readings are obtained from the radar every
second. It detects the object at the limit of 180° angle and continuously feed the control unit there by
moving the vehicle in safe and proper directions. Control unit is built with a lot of conditions that makes
the vehicle to move in the possible safe directions according to the readings from the radar, sensors and
GPS maps.
RADARS
• radar is an object detection system that uses electromagnetic waves to identify the range, altitude, direction,or Speed of both
moving and fixed objects such as aircraft, ship, motor vehicles.
SENSORS
• Yah sensor is a device that measures a physical quantity and converts into a signal which can be read by an observer or by an
instrument.Hair sensors are kept near front wheel there by focusing the road as shown in figure at 160 degree.
9. HOW WILL CAR DETECTSTHETRAFFIC LIGHT?
• A sensor “actinometer” is used to detect the intensity of radiation.
• Light of different colours will radiate different-2- intensity of radiation.
• Which will be detected by the sensor.
• If the detected intensity is of red colour or yellow colour then controller will Send a command
to stop the vehicle.
• The command will be followed by robot.
10. TECHNOLOGY IS MAKINGTHE SYSTEM FULLY
AUTONOMOUS
• Anti-lock breaks (ABS)
• Electronic stability control (ESC)
• Cruise control
• Lane departure warming system
11. ANTI LOCK BRAKES SYSTEM (ABS)
An anti lock brakes system (ABS) generally offers improved
vehicle control and decreases stopping distance on a dry
and slippery surfaces for many drivers.
PARTS OF ANTILOCK BRAKES SYSTEM
• SPEED SENSOR
• VALVES
• PUMP
• CONTROLLER
ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM
12. ADVANTAGES
• Managing traffic flow to increase the road capacity.
• Revealing vehicle occupants from driving allowing them to concentrate on other tasks or to rest
during there journeys.
• To avoid accidents.
• Increasing roadway capacity by reducing the distance between cars.
• The current location of vehicle can be determine using global positioning system (G.P.S)
13. DISADVANTAGES
• If the vehicle is using internet which is have less security than from the hackers point of view in
some cases of vehicle can be switched off on the road.
• Hackers can change the route which is plotted in the systems.
• In case of failure of men sensor and backup sensors the vehicle can create a chance of accident.
14. CONCLUSION
Bhai implementing this auto pilot mode technology will surely reduce the occurrences off road
accidents by a considerable value. In the future, the wide acceptance of my technology will create
an“ Accident free world”.
The driverless cars technology is improves vehicles stability helps to minimise loss of control.
Driverless cars are designed to minimize accidents by addressing the main causes of collisions:
driving error,distraction and drowsiness.
