Inputs: Supplier Deviation Request (SDR), Non- ConformanceNumbers (NCN)
Process
 Studying and understanding the deviations from the supplier/client site.
 Checking the relevant documents (Engineering Drawings, Specifications) for
duplications.
 Providing information to the design engineer which substantiates the engineering
change to be made.
 The responsibledesign engineer approves the change (ECR/ECO) to be made.
 ECR- For revising an existing document/specification.
 ECO- For releasing a new document/specification.
 Documenting the engineering change by means of Engineering Change Request (ECR)
or Engineering ChangeOrder (ECO) depending on the usageof the
documents/specifications in various projects.
 Routing ECR’s and ECO’s to the design engineer for approval.
 After clearance, ECR’s ECO’s are reviewed and released by Senior Design Engineer.
 Updating the BOMthrough the same ECR/ECO (if any change needed).
 Tagging the affected documents/specifications along with the ECR/ECO.
 Correcting the engineering drawings or specifications according to the ECR/ECO.
 Releasing the updated documents as new revisions.
Outputs: Optimized documents as per the requirements of the projects.
