Introduction
-It is energy resources that are
renewable
-Can be naturally replenished

-Clean, Safe and not harmful to the
environment (aka mother earth)
Types of Green Energy
Biomass Energy
Biomass is biological material derived from living, or
recently living organisms. In the context of biomass
for energy this is often used to mean plant based
material, but biomass can equally apply to both
animal and vegetable derived material.
Types & Uses of Biomass Energy
Biomass is highly diverse in nature and classified on the
basis of site of origin, as follows:
1.Field and plantation biomass
2.Industrial biomass
3.Forest biomass
4.Urban waste biomass
5.Aquatic biomass

Uses
1.Agriculture
2.Industry
3.other
Solar Energy
Is produced by using photovoltaic
cells, which capture sunlight and turns
that into energy.
Problems & Uses of solar Energy
The sun has got to shine
-The cost of solar panels
and the systems range
between $20k-40k
-The light from the sun
produces a very small
amount of energy

Uses
Heat Your Swimming Pool With Solar Energy
Solar Energy Can Heat Your Home
Power Pumps With Solar Energy
Solar Energy For Battery Charging
Solar Energy For Cooking
Wind Energy
-These giant pinwheels spin from strong winds
which
spins a turbine of a generator to produce energy.
Uses of Wind Energy
Wind turbines can convert the energy in the wind into
mechanical power that can be used for a variety of
activities like pumping water. Wind turbines can also
use generators to convert wind energy into electricity.

Places Where apply
Large space areas
Fields Requires
Winding areas
Hydro Water Energy
Flowing water creates energy that can be captured and turned into
electricity. This is called hydroelectric power or hydropower.
The most common type of hydroelectric power plant uses a dam on
a river to store water in a reservoir. Water released from the
reservoir flows through a turbine, spinning it, which in turn
activates a generator to produce electricity. But hydroelectric power
doesn't necessarily require a large dam. Some hydroelectric power
plants just use a small canal to channel the river water through a
turbine.
Uses of Hydro water Energy
In Agriculture
In pump sets
At offices
Govt organization
Sustainability of Green Energy
The success, to date, of fossil fuels being able to meet energy demand any
time required has led to a feeling of society wide unrealistic entitlement. This
translates into a belief that whatever we want we can always have whenever
we want it. This of course is leading to problems as it patently can no longer
be maintained. It also has lead to the development of quite unrealistic
expectations as to how far renewable can replace fossil fuels.
Renewable energy is being tagged on to a massive existing demand led fossil
fuelled energy system that has historically grown and grown. Attempts at
demand reduction and increased efficiency seem to deliver slim savings and
these are often cancelled, for example, by people choosing higher comfort
levels or just doing higher milage in their more efficient cars.
For a number of years I worked for a company supplying small (20 – 100 kW)
wind energy systems. The company failed and went bankrupt mainly because
of a lack of investment and a very low profit margin on sales, certainly not for
want of potential customers. Apart from that it was great fun and a hugely
important part in the development of my understanding of the practical limits
of renewable energy.
Efficiency of Green Energy
Advantages & Disadvantages of Green Energy
Negative impact to the environment is Zero.
Make Pollution Free Environment.
Green energy solutions.
Good to Everybody.
Easy to stabilize.
More Efficient.

Disadvantages
Costly to stabilize.
Conclusion on Green Energy
To make sure we have plenty of energy in the future, it's up to all of
us to use energy wisely.
We must all conserve energy and use it efficiently. It's also up to those
who will create the new energy technologies of the future.
All energy sources have an impact on the environment. Concerns
about the greenhouse effect and global warming, air pollution, and
energy security have led to increasing interest and more development
in renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, geothermal, wave
power and hydrogen.
But we'll need to continue to use fossil fuels and nuclear energy until
new, cleaner technologies can replace them. One of you who is
reading this might be another Albert Einstein or Marie Curie and find
a new source of energy. Until then, it's up to all of us.
The future is ours, but we need energy to get there.
!! Thank you !!
