Hostel Surveillance Camera Project

• Image Capture & Video Recording at 1080p on Ethernet cable.
• Unlimited recording on system available.
• 480p recording on wifi.

RaspberryPi B+ : To control ADDY and provide signals to GPIO for its I/P & O/P.
Processor-Broadcom BCM2835 ARMv6, Chipset-HD multimedia
app processor, 512MB SDRAM @400MHz, Storage-MicroSD,
4xUSB Ports, 1.8A@5V, 40GPIO Pins.

To capture images/videos at low light.

3. Next Phase Development: Image Processing
Face Recognition and Counting Persons going/incoming!!
Currently, I am working on OpenCV module for image
recognition and database connection to make more interactive surveillance
camera.
What it will do?
 Count persons per frame.
 Sends notification for face recognition.
 Sets Alarm when unusual activities detected.
 Motion detection like over-crowd and calculating scores
using temperature sensors
