OBJECTIVE I want to inspire students to become Successful Learners. Through good
communication skills, enthusiasm, patience, and tact, I want to Stimulate
Students’ thinking by asking questions and by encouraging Classroom
Participation. I strongly believe that every child deserves to be nurtured and
encouraged as well as taught. My goal is to strive to provide each student with
a learning experience that boosts academic skills, knowledge, social interaction,
self-esteem, positive attitudes and values, and a passionate determination for
life long accomplishments.

EXPERIENCE

Present Art Teacher – Elementary
- Teach six separate classes daily, ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade.
-Successfully impacted student’s artistic knowledge by creatively using art,
through the exploration of several mediums.
-Encouraged them to explore and use a wide variety of art materials, such as
watercolors, pens, pencils, markers, scissors, glue, and construction paper.
-Inspired “Real Life” connections to art history and art appreciation, through
films followed by relevant projects that furthered their insights on particular
holidays and historical events, ultimately creating art pieces selected for
Display throughout the school and for their own homes.
-Art projects encouraged students’ self-expression by developing their precision
skills and dexterity in painting, drawing, cutting, pasting and two-dimensional
pieces.
-Integrated Art History into lessons. Combined social studies with lessons and
presented multi-cultural lessons with cross-content.
-Explored and further developed their imagination and design skills by learning
how to make art, based on historic characters and events.
-Successfully Prepared students for Art Competition and the North Bergen's
Gifted and Talented (G & T) Program, also known as P.E.A.K. (Providing
Enrichment and Accelerated Knowledge).

-Substituted Art Teachers during Short Term and Long Term assignments of up
to a full Academic Year, from Pre-K to 12th Grades throughout the North Bergen
