2. Vanessa Madriz SLS Career Cluster Paper
After completing the choices “work values sorter” and focus I learned a more
about myself in which my personality can relate to my career choice. I believe this was
really helpful because it help me to understand the different types of career choices I can
look into that matches my personality and what I love to do. I was very interested in
mostly all the career matches with my assessment and I did look into all of them because
it
was me it match the medical field I want to peruse and it match the fact im hands on and I
love to help people. Also, it explains that I have patients in what I do and I actually care.
In addition when I was looking into gold star I found interesting career choices.
For instance I got a chance to really be able to look into nursing Registered nursing to be
exact. What I learned about RN is that is it a good career choice simply because it has a
lot of job offers around the world and it is still growing and expected to grow even more
through out the years. The pay rate is awesome and the hours is pretty much guarantee.
And it also has a variety of task, locations, and patients you can work with.www.sdms.org
was the website I looked into and I found it very helpful because it was basically a guide
line to rather or not this career choice will be for me and it gave very much detail of
every
aspect of this career.
In conclusion, Based on the information I received and learned about sonography
technician I learned that this career is exactly what I want to do and all the information I
received was more then enough. I learned about what to expect as far as how to get to
where I need to get, the pay rate, and locations. I found this project extremely helpful and
to anyone who isn’t so sure on what career choice to choose or if they have a career

choice for them this project will be perfect for them.
