FOR WE CAN DO NOTHING AGAINST THE
TRUTH, BUT FOR THE TRUTH. 2CO 13:8
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is
truth. Joh 17:17
Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear
the sins of many; and unto them that look for
him shall he appear the second time without
sin unto salvation.
Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one
judgment came upon all men to condemnation;
even so by the righteousness of one the free gift
came upon all men unto justification of life.
Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many
were made sinners, so by the obedience of one
shall many be made righteous.

3. FOR WE CAN DO NOTHING AGAINST THE
TRUTH, BUT FOR THE TRUTH. 2CO 13:8
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is
truth. Joh 17:17
1Co 2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you,
came not with excellency of speech or of
wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of
God.
1Co 2:2 For I determined not to know any
thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him
crucified.
1Co 2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and
in fear, and in much trembling.
1Co 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was
not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but
in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1Co 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the
wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
4. Rom 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what
he had promised, he was able also to
perform.
Rom 4:22 And therefore it was imputed to him
for righteousness.
Rom 4:23 Now it was not written for his sake
alone, that it was imputed to him;
Rom 4:24 But for us also, to whom it shall be
imputed, if we believe on him that raised up
Jesus our Lord from the dead;
Rom 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences,
and was raised again for our justification.
Heb 5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when
he had offered up prayers and
supplications with strong crying and tears
unto him that was able to save him from
death, and was heard in that he feared;
Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned
he obedience by the things which he
suffered;
5. Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he
became the author of eternal salvation
unto all them that obey him;
Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a
little lower than the angels for the suffering
of death, crowned with glory and honour;
that he by the grace of God should taste
death for every man.
Heb 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all
things, and by whom are all things, in
bringing many sons unto glory, to make the
captain of their salvation perfect through
sufferings.
Heb 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they
who are sanctified are all of one: for which
cause he is not ashamed to call them
brethren,
Heb 2:12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto
my brethren, in the midst of the church will I
sing praise unto thee.
Heb 2:13 And again, I will put my trust in
him. And again, Behold I and the children
which God hath given me.
6. Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are
partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself
likewise took part of the same; that through
death he might destroy him that had the
power of death, that is, the devil;
Heb 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of
death were all their lifetime subject to
bondage.
Heb 2:16 For verily he took not on him the
nature of angels; but he took on him the seed
of Abraham.
Heb 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved
him to be made like unto his brethren, that
he might be a merciful and faithful high
priest in things pertaining to God, to make
reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Heb 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered
being tempted, he is able to succour them
that are tempted.
7. 1Co 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If
any man among you seemeth to be wise in
this world, let him become a fool, that he
may be wise.
1Co 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is
foolishness with God. For it is written, He
taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
1Co 3:20 And again, The Lord knoweth the
thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
1Co 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men.
For all things are yours;
1Co 3:22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas,
or the world, or life, or death, or things
present, or things to come; all are yours;
1Co 3:23 And ye are Christ's; and Christ is
God's.
Php 3:7 But what things were gain to me,
those I counted loss for Christ.
Php 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things
but loss for the excellency of the knowledge
of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have
8. suffered the loss of all things, and do count
them but dung, that I may win Christ,
Php 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine
own righteousness, which is of the law, but
that which is through the faith of Christ, the
righteousness which is of God by faith:
Php 3:10 That I may know him, and the power
of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his
sufferings, being made conformable unto his
death;
Php 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto
the resurrection of the dead.
Php 3:12 Not as though I had already attained,
either were already perfect: but I follow
after, if that I may apprehend that for which
also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
1Co 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren,
how that not many wise men after the flesh,
not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish
things of the world to confound the wise; and
God hath chosen the weak things of the
9. world to confound the things which are
mighty;
1Co 1:28 And base things of the world, and
things which are despised, hath God chosen,
yea, and things which are not, to bring to
nought things that are:
1Co 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his
presence.
1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus,
who of God is made unto us wisdom, and
righteousness, and sanctification, and
redemption:
1Co 1:31 That, according as it is written, He
that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity
against God: for it is not subject to the law of
God, neither indeed can be.
Rom 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh
cannot please God.
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the
Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in
10. you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of
Christ, he is none of his.
Rom 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is
dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life
because of righteousness.
Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up
Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that
raised up Christ from the dead shall also
quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that
dwelleth in you.
Rom 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors,
not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
2Co 13:3 Since ye seek a proof of Christ
speaking in me, which to you-ward is not
weak, but is mighty in you.
2Co 13:4 For though he was crucified through
weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God.
For we also are weak in him, but we shall
live with him by the power of God toward
you.
2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be
in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye
11. not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is
in you, except ye be reprobates?
2Co 13:6 But I trust that ye shall know that we
are not reprobates.
2Co 13:7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil;
not that we should appear approved, but that
ye should do that which is honest, though we
be as reprobates.
2Co 13:8 For we can do nothing against the
truth, but for the truth.
1Pe 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye
were not redeemed with corruptible
things, as silver and gold, from your
vain conversation received by tradition
from your fathers;
1Pe 1:19 But with the precious blood of
Christ, as of a lamb without blemish
and without spot:
1Pe 1:20 Who verily was foreordained
before the foundation of the world, but
was manifest in these last times for
you,
1Pe 1:21 Who by him do believe in God,
that raised him up from the dead, and
12. gave him glory; that your faith and
hope might be in God.
1Pe 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your
souls in obeying the truth through the
Spirit unto unfeigned love of the
brethren, see that ye love one another
with a pure heart fervently:
1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of
corruptible seed, but of incorruptible,
by the word of God, which liveth and
abideth for ever.
1Pe 1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and
all the glory of man as the flower of
grass. The grass withereth, and the
flower thereof falleth away:
1Pe 1:25 But the word of the Lord
endureth for ever. And this is the word
which by the gospel is preached unto
you.
IS CHRIST DIVIDED?
1Co 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all
speak the same thing, and that there be no
divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly
13. joined together in the same mind and in the
same judgment.
1Co 1:11 For it hath been declared unto me of
you, my brethren, by them which are of the
house of Chloe, that there are contentions
among you.
1Co 1:12 Now this I say, that every one of you
saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of
Cephas; and I of Christ.
1Co 1:13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified
for you? or were ye baptized in the name of
Paul?
1Co 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to
them that perish foolishness; but unto us
which are saved it is the power of God.
1Co 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the
wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing
the understanding of the prudent.
1Co 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the
scribe? where is the disputer of this world?
hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this
world?
14. 1Co 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God
the world by wisdom knew not God, it
pleased God by the foolishness of preaching
to save them that believe.
1Co 1:22 For the Jews require a sign, and the
Greeks seek after wisdom:
1Co 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto
the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the
Greeks foolishness;
1Co 1:24 But unto them which are called, both
Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God,
and the wisdom of God.
