 Responsible for ensuring seven (7) days activity plan is developed and adhered to
 Organize and coordinates special outings and accompanies residents to all outings, such;

interests. Program must meet State and Federal guidelines
 Maintains documentation on each resident including assessments, care plans, and
progress notes
 Counsels and encourages residents to develop independent leisure activities
 Understand and adheres to the guidelines of “Resident rights”
 Develop monthly activities that are seasonal and appropriate for each Resident
 Supervises and conducts in-service training for staff members: activities and recreation
 Performs additional duties as assigned

Plans for all Residents
 Department Head weekend duty for entire facility
 Orchestrated special events and reservations for the Retirement Community managed
customer relations with SHSU & Huntsville Chamber of Commerce, and provided

 Troubleshot and resolved problems, mediated staff disputes, and handled customer
