Women 2.0 is a nonprofit organization that aims to increase the number of female technology startup founders. It provides resources, mentorship and funding opportunities to over 30,000 members. The organization hosts various events including an annual startup competition called PITCH that has evaluated over 300 startups. Past PITCH winners like Foodspotting and Wildfire Interactive have gone on to receive funding. Sponsors of Women 2.0 events gain exposure to the organization's network of founders, executives and investors.

PITCH is an annual celebration of women in
entrepreneurship.
Over 3 years, Women 2.0 has accepted more than 300 early stage business
plans from around the world. PITCH opens up the opportunity for women to

Foodspotting (Startup Weekend 2009)
Foodspotting is a visual local guide that lets you find dishes
instead of just restaurants. Foodspotting received Angel Funding
from investor Dan Martell from its pitch at San Francisco’s
Women 2.0 Startup Weekend.
Wildfire Interactive (Pitch 2009)
Wildfire Interactive, Inc. is a technology company specialized in
developing simple tools that enable organizations to engage users
of social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Wildfire
Interactive was a participant in Pitch 2009 and was initially funded
by Dave McClure from Founder’s Fund, a judge in Pitch 2009
and Women 2.0 supporter. Today, Wildfire has since received $4M in
