In every interaction with residents, nurses,

5. MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SERVICES
2018 Employee of the Year
Amanda has demonstrated outstanding
leadership and commitment far beyond
Westminster Woods on Julington Creek,
where she is the executive director. When
Westminster Oaks was impacted by Hurricane
Michael in October 2018, Amanda jumped
right in and helped deliver portable A/C units
and generators to help ensure the community
could provide comfort and care to its residents
during the storm. Her immediate action
and concern for those we serve — at every
community — show how she lives out the

6. WESTMINSTER WINTER PARK
2018 Employee of the Year
Chris is a wonderful team player who
supports the residents of Westminster Winter
Park and our new neighborhood, Westminster
Baldwin Park. He has helped us establish a
hugely successful preventative maintenance
program in residential living, and he’s worked
tirelessly through power outages to ensure the
residents are taken care of. Chris even brought
in his own equipment to show the Super Bowl,
when cable went out in the common areas.
The residents praise Chris’s work all the time,
and our community is fortunate to have him
working hard for them.

9. WESTMINSTER PALMS
2018 Employee of the Year
Recently, we received a call that a resident
who was in the hospital would be passing soon.
Belinda tried to arrange transportation to get
the resident’s spouse from our community to
the hospital, and when she was unable to find
someone to accompany him, Belinda went with
him. She stayed with the couple for hours, and
provided aid and ensured their needs were
met. With her there, the residents were in safe
hands. Belinda says she tries to build a bond
with every person she meets. That makes all of
us at Westminster Palms especially fortunate,
because she is one of us. Congratulations!

understand a cable bill, or helping out an

that everyone is taken care of to the best of his
ability. In 2018, he received three Legendary

For more than 22 years, Darlene has served
the residents at our community in Dining

the department, up to the level of Supervisor.
This makes her the most cross-trained person
in our whole department! Darlene takes great
pride in her work. Today, she is a cook, rotating

17. WESTMINSTER OAKS
2018 Employee of the Year
Mary starts each day by recognizing her
fellow team members and the residents. She
always has a smile on her face. Plus, there’s a
hug or a peck on the cheek for everyone, and
something positive to say. Mary also always
looks for opportunities to celebrate: She knows
what the residents enjoy, and will bring in
movies and popcorn or treats from home for
a movie night, and when an employee needs a
pick-me-up, she’ll organize a birthday party or
potluck. We’re all so thankful to have someone
who lives out the Seven Habits like Mary in our
community, every day.
