1. The Campaign
We have been asked by the NHS to create a
healthy lifestyle advert in association with the
better health campaign, aimed at young
adults aged between 16-20 years old
I will be creating a Print advert and a radio advert
to promote being more active by doing more
exercise
2. Client- The NHS
The National Health Service (NHS) were first established in WW2.
They work to help improve the physical health and wellbeing of
people when they feel ill, providing medical treatment and care.
Their main purpose is to provide treatment and medical care to
improve health and save lives. This has therefore inspired me to
make a campaign marketed towards being more active
The NHS were previously involved in the Change 4 life campaign
which was focused on a healthy diet. This has changes to the
better health campaign which is focused of being more active and
eating healthy
3. Clients previous campaigns
Previously, the NHS had made the better health
campaign adverts which were targeted towards an
older audience.
The focuses of this campaign was to persuade older
people to quit smoking, have a healthier diet and
become more active
After looking through existing products, Print adverts
inspire me the most when making my campaign as
there most common throughout previous campaigns
4. Audience research
After asking my targeted audience some questions I have
learned that my target audience aren't too active as the
amount of regular exercise varies across my audience.
I noticed this is a clear gap in the audience that I want to
solve in my campaign
5. What I will be doing
Based on my client and audience research I have decided to
focus on being more active as it wasn’t present as often on
the previous NHS campaigns
I have decided to make a Print advert and radio advert as I
think it will be most effective to get the message across as it
is straight to the point and stands out
This add will be aimed at a young audience aged 16-18 as
this was what my audience research.
